Description
Learn to use breakout rooms and other interactive tools to increase collaboration in Zoom. Participants will experience options for having their meeting attendees interact using tools such as chat, annotation tools, and breakout rooms. Participants will also develop ideas for setting up and using these tools to get meeting attendees working together in their own online sessions.
Objectives
Participants will be able to…
• Define collaboration in meetings and synchronous online classrooms and identify how collaboration supports higher levels of learning and cooperation
• Use Zoom tools that support collaboration, such as chat, annotations, breakout rooms
• Develop a plan for using breakout rooms in meetings and synchronous online classrooms
Session Time & Login Info
The starting time listed is 15 minutes prior to the actual starting time of the session in order to give online participants an opportunity to log in and test all necessary settings, including audio and system requirements, before the session begins. You will receive an email with the link to participate one day prior to the session.
