Jonathan Gunnell, Ed.D. Director

Jon is the Director of the Center for Educational Innovation at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. He holds an Ed.D. from Duquesne University in Instructional Technology and Leadership. Jon’s previous role was Manager of Online Programs at the University of Pittsburgh. He brings 15 years of experience teaching and designing online courses along with technical expertise in instructional course development, video, audio and music production, web design, and data management.

Lee Ann Dickerson, Ed.D. Instructional Designer

Lee Ann is an Instructional Designer for the Center for Educational Innovation at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College, and partners with faculty to manifest their teaching and learning goals in their courses. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, St. Paul, and has experience in faculty, instructional design, and educational technology roles. Lee Ann is an INTJ; her Gallup Strengths are Learner, Maximizer, Intellection, Ideation, and Input.

Dani McCauley, D.Ed. Instructional Designer

Dani is an Instructional Designer for the Center for Educational Innovation and provides instructional design and technology support for online courses. She holds a D.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and Leadership. Dani has held a variety of roles in education that have allowed her to work with all levels of learners, from pre-school to adults. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors doing activities like hiking, kayaking, and skiing.

Kim Wick, M.A. Instructional Designer

Kim is an Instructional Designer for the Center for Educational Innovation and provides instructional design and technology support for online courses. She holds a M.A. in Adult Education and Communications Technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Kim has more than 12 years of experience working in higher education. In her spare ​time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and she is active in her community with the Business and Professional Women’s Club.

Jaimen Gallo  Instructional Developer

Jaimen is an Instructional Developer for the Center for Educational Innovation at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. He is responsible for the center’s systems and sites, contributes to commonwealth campus initiatives, creates multimedia, and develops interactive content, applications, and sites for projects and courses. He also works with faculty and staff to identify, design, develop, and implement new features and technologies based on educational needs. Jaimen loves adventure and spending time with family and friends.

Hudson Tran Instructional Multimedia Specialist

Hudson Tran is an Instructional Multimedia Specialist for the Center for Educational Innovation at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. He supports the development and delivery of courses for Behrend’s online and residential programs by working closely with faculty and Instructional Designers to produce video, photo, audio, animations, graphics, and other media. Hudson has a BA in Communication from Behrend and industry experience as a business owner/photographer, creative director at an advertising agency, and PR campaign researcher. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time in nature or with friends and family. Hudson is also active in the creative community and often collaborates on films and video production.
